Whether you are planning to celebrate your wedding in the company of twenty or two hundred of your friends and family, Ingatestone Hall can provide a most attractive setting for the festivities.
It is always our policy to provide you with just the right kind of space to suit your individual requirements and to leave you free to pick your own preferred suppliers of catering, entertainment etc. We do not have our own "wedding planner". Our housekeeper, Carol Delafuente, will be able to guide you through the process.

The premises are licensed for live music and for the consumption of alcohol.
Ingtatestone Hall now possesses a Civil Ceremony Licence so it is able to host weddings and civil partnerships. Click below on the Plans and Spaces button to see details those spaces that are available for this purpose. For those planning a church wedding, the Hall is conveniently near to a number of picturesque country churches - Fryerning, Mountnessing, Buttsbury and Margaretting.
There are five principal rooms inside the house and four main areas in the gardens and grounds that are available for your use, either individually or in combination.

It is possible on these pages to give only a broad impression of the many ways in which the house and its grounds can be used; you are cordially invited to make an appointment for a free tour of the facilities on offer and a chance to soak up their special atmosphere. Because of the many different formulae and layouts that are available for you to choose, we do not publish a fixed scale of fees. For small gatherings, these can be as little as £70.00 per hour; some examples of popular formats are as follows (2010 prices - hire of premises only, excluding catering costs).
Four hour Wedding Breakfast for 40 guests in the Summer Parlour.
Parking in the North Wing Car Park and access via the North Wing Garden.
£310 plus VAT
Three hour Wedding Breakfast for 60 guests in the Summer Parlour preceded by a one hour reception in the Stone Hall. Followed by four hours dancing in the Stone Hall for a further 50 guests.
Parking in the Meadow Car Park and access via the Main Drive.
£1350 plus VAT
Three hour buffet for 60 guests in the Summer Parlour followed by four hours dancing in a 40 ft. x 80 ft. marquee in Orchard for a further 140 guests with access via the Herb Garden.

£1040 plus VAT
(excluding cost of the marquee itself. A fully fitted marquee of this size will cost approximately £2000 to hire.)
Six hour Dinner-Dance for 250 guests in a 40 ft. x 140 ft. marquee in the Courtyard.

£950 plus VAT
